Actual line from a UT crime prevention tip telling students not to sexy-Skype with strangers. UT police really know how to connect to students with their culture.

That movie came out when I was 14. And for some reason I loved it? I saw it 4 times in theaters. This was right after theaters cracked down on letting unaccompanied minors into rated R movies, so I saw it with my or one of my friends’ parents each time, which, I know, gross.

Anyway, I saw that movie a lot and had a really hard time making the connection to the sexy-Skype crime. I feel for this police officer, who is probably my age, because I try to relate to 18 year olds all the time with even more dated references. Do you know none of them have seen Beverly Hills Cop? Like not a one. So in addition to library instruction, these kids get some pretty cool Netflix recommendations too.

I referred to Chris O’Donnell one time and got a ton of puzzled looks. So I said, “He was Robin in Batman & Robin” which was just a huge mistake.
